Robert Reynolds shares a masterful collection of his artwork,
spanning more than 30 years of his career, in “The Art
of Robert Reynolds: Quiet Journey.”
This hardcover coffee table book celebrates pristine nature
soulfully expressed by of one of America ’s foremost artists.
His work captures the dynamic seascapes, the rolling terrain,
the lakes and rivers of California ’s Central Coast and
the majestic High Sierra. Utilizing nature as meaningful metaphors
continues to be a motivating force within his work.

collection of 178 reproductions of watercolor and acrylic paintings--with
occasional drawings in charcoal and graphite--reflect the artist’s
keen eye for detail and his love of the land and its people.
The book is printed on art paper in a 16-inch by 12.5-inch format.
Included are observations and musings by writer James Hayes.
The journalist and author is an emeritus professor of the Journalism
Department at Cal Poly University.
